This LOLA at 4th Tap concert features music of Bolcom, Weill, Yates, and Stopschinski! We will explore teenage angst with the humorous and sentimental "Five Youthful Songs" by Graham Yates with poetry by Rose Labreche (written when she was 15). We'll get our hearts broken by Kurt Weill. We will explore snapshots of life with Bolcom's Cabaret Songs. And we will get a sneak peek of a new chamber opera by Peter Stopschinski called "Lardo Weeping". Concert runs no more than 90 minutes, tickets are just $10 and kids are FREE, win win win!
